
Our client, an agricultural company focused on improving farm productivity through the production and supply of high-quality crop seeds and related agricultural products, is seeking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales within the Ugandan market and supporting the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the national pricing strategy and ensure distributor and stockist compliance with pricing and loyalty program rules.
- Ensure proper execution of loyalty programs, including branding, product offering, pricing, storage standards, and target achievement.
- Manage, coach, and supervise the field team to improve productivity, sales performance, and compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through correct seed recommendations and timely resolution of complaints.
- Manage area budgets and sales forecasts to ensure effective resource planning.
- Supervise and audit demo plots and field activities to ensure correct execution and proper training of farmers and technicians.
- Provide regular sales, customer, demo plot, market, and competitor reporting, and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with AR policies, timely collections, and effective coordination of logistics to support sales goals.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience working with or managing a sales or field team.
- Good understanding of the Ugandan agricultural market and distribution channels.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare basic reports and forecasts.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Uganda.
