Our client, a leading player in the automotive and heavy equipment sector, is seeking a highly competent Inventory and Warehouse Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of their parts and tools inventory.

This pivotal role focuses on rigorous asset control, optimization of stock levels, and enhancement of internal logistics processes to support strong Aftersales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and supervise cyclical and annual physical inventories to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
    • Analyze and monitor stock aging to identify items at risk of obsolescence or becoming dead stock, and recommend appropriate actions.
    • Coordinate the repricing or revaluation of dead and obsolete stock to support accurate inventory valuation.
    • Support the identification and planning of parts requirements to maintain optimal safety stock levels.
    • Work closely with Warehouse and Workshop teams to ensure proper physical control, tracking, and traceability of tools and equipment.
    • Monitor the stock and usage of workshop consumables, ensuring cost control and reduction of waste.
    • Oversee internal logistics processes including receiving, storage, and picking to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
    • Conduct periodic assessments of restock needs to prevent stock-outs and reduce inventory aging.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in inventory control and warehouse management, preferably within the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
    • Proven experience in managing physical inventory, cycle counting, and reduction of obsolete stock.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, vendor ecosystems, and inventory control methods (e.g., ABC analysis, Min/Max levels).
    • Proficiency in ERP and warehouse management systems.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
    • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
