Our client a credit only Micro-Finance Company licensed in Kenya under the Company’s Act is looking for . The successful candidate will be responsible for organizational training strategy, overseeing its implementation and assessing its outcome and improving the productivity of the organization’s employees. This position assesses group-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees.
Key Requirements:
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs & improving performance.
- Assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
- Drive brand values & philosophy through all training and development activities.
- Manage the technologies & technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
- Keep abreast of training trends, developments & best practices.
- Conduct Talent, Learning & Performance Development in a cost-effective manner.
- Delivery of the leadership development programs.
- Integrate the Talent, Learning & Performance Development business plan with the HR value chain.
- Enhance productivity through effective design & implementation of a talent management programs.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor existing and new training programs.
- Reporting to management and other stakeholders to ensure effectiveness on the performance.
- Obtain & develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
- Plan, organize, facilitate and order supplies for employee development and training events.
- Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business equivalent.
- Must have CHRP Certification.
- Must have at least 8 years in training & Capacity building.
- Experience with curriculum development and training delivery.
- Good grounding in competencies and skills assessments.
- Ability to implement and deliver change initiatives through learning.
- Ability to measure and communicate the impact of learning initiatives.
