Our client, a consulting firm dedicated to promoting economic prosperity for businesses, is currently seeking a . The selected candidate will be responsible for leading project monitoring activities and supporting efforts to advance gender equality and female empowerment. The ideal candidate Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on gender projects and possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies or any other related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on gender-sensitive indicators within the performance measurement framework and support colleagues in monitoring and reporting program results, outputs, and objectives against agreed indicators.
- Provide technical assistance to partners in assessing their approach to gender mainstreaming throughout the program cycle.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of the gender action plan.
- Develop a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system to capture the project’s impact across various interventions.
- Facilitate the implementation of the project’s M&E system, ensuring efficient information flow, synergy and partnerships.
- Generate proposal and concept notes for monitoring, evaluation and research activities.
- Create and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection tools for timely reporting.
Qualifications:
- Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies or any other related field.
- Must have 2 years and above working experience working on gender issues.
- Must have experience with using data collection and analysis software.
- Strong quantitative, qualitative and analytical research skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
